Five A.M.: Raise the Sun -- The last album I covered for Five A.M. was the 2002 release Degrees of Falling. I was impressed with this band six years ago; in fact, I gave that release 5 stars. So the question is now would Raise the Sun be just as impressive? I can honestly answer that with a reverberating yes!

John Fogerty: Revival -- It is hard to believe, but this is the first album of all new material from John Fogerty in 30 years. Good things take time, and in John’s case, he had to come to terms with all of his demons personally and professionally before this album could happen. It’s called Revival for a reason and not too hard to read between the lines if you have been a CCR and Fogerty fan forever.

Foxy Moon Baby: Dreamer -- Foxy Moon Baby kicks off their new album Dreamer with the title track, an upbeat jazz mover that focuses on their instrumental prowess. Then no sooner, you are in the instrumental frame of mind and the next track “Velma in the Shade” kicks in, offering some more jazz with pop overtones and the pleasant vocals of Dennis Lippe, who also mans the guitars along with his sibling Chris.
